The Shops at Amyclae and Amyclae Medical Office Building

Pitched roof retail building afford increased visibility for tenants

The Shops Amyclae consists of two sister building with a stamped concrete courtyard. Each building on it's own lot is less than 20,000 square feet with a maximum of 5 tenant spaces to comply with Harford County's dated Integrated Community Shopping Center requirements. The buildings feature barrel arches, pitched roofs with slateline shingles, and dormers with mirrors to reflect the cloudy sky and hide attic equipment. Details also include quoined two-toned brick facades with special water tables shapes at the bases and pilasters.

The medical office building (MOB) features similar details: such as the slateline shingles and two toned brick façade. However, the MOB features four individual entry porticoes, both front and rear, as well as twin cupolas equipped with copper weather vanes. The building also incorporated tow dramatic arched windows, on either end wall with copper returns.
